CHANGES FOR 2024 

Hello. It has been great the past couple of weeks getting back on the field and taking photos of some Liberty Football scrimmages and jamborees. This season will mark the 9th year that I have taken photos of the Jays. As we get started to begin the 2024 football season I wanted to share a couple of changes for those of you that are interested in ordering photos from the 2024 Liberty Football season. 

1 - I will only be selling photos as digital prints this season. For the past three or so years digital print sales have by far been the majority of orders placed and this will streamline my process. When you purchase a digital print you have the advantages of using it as you wish in different formats and I can typically provide it to you in less than 24 hours after you request it - in many cases even faster. All of the digital prints that I sell are in the highest possible resolution and can be used in multiple formats. I will still offer specialty products like banners, acrylic prints, posters and personalized sports cards using my photographs. If you would like to turn an image into one of these products please let me know and I can give you a specific price quote for your desired size and quantity. 

2 - The cost of a digital print has been reduced to $15 per digital print and if you order more than five in one season the price drops to just $10 for each digital print you order starting with your sixth. (Last year the starting price for a digital print was $20 each). This is my attempt to make ordering photos more affordable.

3 - I will be focusing my attention on editing photos for people that are interested in ultimately purchasing images. For years I have typically created a final gallery of 200 or more photos from each game, requiring quite a few hours of work on the weekend to complete. As an example, last year I uncharacteristically missed a couple of games due to the passing of my dad and I still posted over 1,800 edited images for the season. I want to focus my shooting and editing efforts on the players who do purchase photos in order to give them the best product possible. I will continue to take photos throughout the entire game of everything happening but an emphasis will be placed on editing and posting photos of players who have placed a $50 deposit on the season. The $50 deposit will be applied to your first order, it is simply a way for me to emphasize my efforts in taking some photos of and editing photos of people interested in purchasing images. No problem if you don’t place a $50 deposit, I will continue to take and post photos of players and you can still purchase images at any time from the gallery but I will make a concerted effort to edit and post photos for the people that continue to support this small business.

Taking photos at Liberty High School events is one of the things I enjoy most about my week. I want to continue to capture our students and athletes doing what they love. After the last several seasons, I need to provide some balance between the amount of time I am taking away from other aspects of my life, and what is financially supporting the investment I have made in my time, camera, lens, software, online storage, etc. I appreciate everyone who purchases images and want to find the best way to continue providing you with a product that allows you to capture these special moments forever.
